Best Okra Recipe

Over the weekend, I went to the farmer's market and bought some okra. I didn't even know what I was going to make but I wanted to try it, because all I've ever had was fried. While browsing on Pinterest, I came across a baked okra recipe and voila, I found one of my new favorite recipes. This recipe is so much better than the fried stuff and you don't have the guilt afterwards, so what's not to love?

What You Need
1 lb okra, rinsed and dried
1/2 TSP salt
1/4 TSP pepper
1/2-1 TSP red pepper flakes
1/4 cup olive oil

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 400ยบ
2. Cut off the tops and pointy bottoms of the okra and then cut them in half, lengthwise 
3. Combine salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and olive oil in large bowl
4. Toss okra with mixture until well combined
5. Spread out the tossed okra on a rimmed (so the oil doesn't drip off) baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until brown
6. Enjoy guilt free okra!
