Chocolate & Coconut Energy Balls

makes a dozen

What You Need
1 cup dates, pitted
1 cup almonds
2 TBS cocoa powder
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/8 TSP sea salt
1/4 TSP vanilla
1 TBS almond milk

Directions
1. Place 1/4 cup coconut flakes in food processor. Process into smaller pieces (15-30 seconds), but not long enough for it to start turning into butter. Put on plate and set to the side.
2. Place dates into food processor and process them until the form a ball. Break up the ball with your hands.
3. Add in almonds, cocoa powder, sea salt, and 2 TBS coconut flakes. Process until everything is combined. 
4. Add in the vanilla and milk and process until it forms a ball again. If this doesn't happen, add a little more milk.
5. Roll the mixture into 12 balls and then roll them through the coconut shavings you had set aside. 
6. Store them in an airtight container and enjoy!
