Thai Turkey Burgers w/ Almond Butter Slaw

makes 4 burgers

What You Need
For The Burger
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup carrots, shredded or diced
1 TBS cilantro, chopped
1 green onion, diced
1/2 TSP salt
1/2 TSP garlic powder
1/2 TSP ground ginger
Olive oil

For The Almond Butter Sauce
2 TBS almond butter
1 TBS coconut aminos
1 TBS rice vinegar

For The Slaw
2 TBS almond butter
3 TBS rice vinegar
2 TBS coconut aminos
1 TBS water
1/2 TSP garlic powder
1 TSP sesame oil
1/4 TSP ground ginger
10 oz. coleslaw mix
1 TBS green onions

Directions
For The Burger
1. In a medium bowl, combine (with your hands) all of the above ingredients except the olive oil. Form into 4 patties.
2. Heat oil in a medium sized pan over medium/high heat. Once warm, add in patties and cook for 4 minutes each side. 
3. Check with a meat thermometer to see if the internal temp has reached 165°. If not, flip and continue process until cooked through. Set aside.

For The Almond Butter Sauce
1. In a small bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients and set aside.

For The Slaw
1. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together everything but the coleslaw mix and green onions.
2. Stir in the coleslaw and green onions. Make sure to coat everything! Set aside.

Assembly
1. Place your burger on desired serving plate. Top with almond butter sauce and then coleslaw mix.
2. Top with additional green onions if desired. Enjoy!
