Gobble, gobble. Thanksgiving is finally upon us! A wonderful time filled with lots of family, drinks, and food. I love this holiday because it's a time where all my family comes together under one roof to  spend time together, socialize, and cook. This year, my family and I are heading to Charleston to spend Thanksgiving with my aunt, uncle, and cousins. I cannot wait to see everyone and explore Charleston for a few days. Since Thanksgiving requires lots of cooking and meal planning, I've decided to share my Thanksgiving dinner menu with y'all. Happy holidays!

Hip Hip Hooray, It's Friday!

Another beautiful Friday is upon us! It's been a non-stop week for me. I started a PR internship, worked with my mom, and served. I'm so happy to have a little break from it all. Today, my sister came into town from college and i'm so excited to spend the weekend exploring the city with her. We already tried out a new restaurant this afternoon, look for it being featured next week. I hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Here are some of my favorite links from this week:

Birthday Weekend Recap

My weekend was absolutely amazing. I got to spend it with some of my closest friends in the Blue Ridge mountains celebrating my 23rd birthday. We went up Thursday night and enjoyed some homemade pizza, watched my favorite Thursday night shows (#TGIT), and drank a lot of wine. Friday we went into town and explored all downtown Blue Ridge has to offer. We sipped on chai tea lattes and I got a Bourbon and Boweties bracelet that i'm obsessed with. Saturday, we went to Cartecay Vineyards in Ellijay. This was probably my favorite activity of the whole trip. I couldn't of asked for better weather, better company, or a better time. We wandered the grounds and warmed up by a fire, while enjoying live music and plenty of wine. It's back to reality but I cannot wait to go back up again next year. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip:

The Birthday Celebration Continues

Today, i'm headed up to the mountains to continue the most perfect birthday celebration with my close friends. The mountains are my most absolutely favorite place on earth and I can't wait to experience another fall up there. This weekend, we'll be making a whole bunch of food and drinking way too much wine and it will be a perfect getaway.

Check out the dishes i've got planned for this weekend:

Some slow cooker turkey chili will be great to eat while watching the Georgia vs Auburn game

Friday, We Meet Again!

We made it to yet another Friday! To me, this week seemed to drag on and i'm so happy to have two days to just relax. I'm super excited, because tonight I get to catch up with one of my best friends from college over drinks and dinner. Life after college is still pretty great! And with all this beautiful fall weather, I plan on spending as much time outside as possible. I was thinking of taking my pup to the farmers market and picking up some fresh veggies for the week. I hope you all have something fun planned!

Featured: Camp Twin Lakes' Partners Card

With Halloween over and Thanksgiving quickly approaching, the holiday season is right around the corner. Every year it's the same routine, buying gifts at the last minute and being trampled by the millions of Atlantans doing the same. But this year, I'm avoiding the lines and getting all my shopping done early thanks to the Camp Twin Lakes Partners Card. Guys, this card is seriously amazing and goes to a great cause, so it's a win win.

Camp Twin Lakes: Before I tell you some of the benefits of the card, let me tell you where your money is going and who your helping. Camp Twin Lakes is a non-profit that provides life-changing camp experiences for thousands of Georgia's children suffering from serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life changing challenges. Being a non-profit, Camp Twin Lakes depends on donations to help better these kid's lives and the Partners Card is a great way to help out. To find out more about Camp Twin Lakes visit their website.

The Partners Card: This card is Camp Twin Lakes' 10-day shopping and dining discount event that takes place from October 31st until November 9th. The card is $60 and gets you discounts to more than 400 participating boutiques, retail chains, and restaurants in the Atlanta area. Some retailers on the list, like Tory Burch, Jimmy Choo, and Cole Haan, don't ever put their items on sale and this card gets you 20% off! Last year, over 4,250 cards were sold and over $350,000 was raised, which provided a medically-supportive camp experience for 400 children who otherwise, wouldn't have been able to go.
