It's The Weekend!

Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week. I'm about sick of this cold weather, so this weekend will consist of lots of fires and hot cocoa to keep me warm. I'll also be heading back to Milledgeville for homecoming, so i'll have to drink an extra glass of wine to keep me warm. I can't wait to go visit friends, eat Georgia Bob's, and have my sister come as well. It's going to be a great weekend! Everyone be sure to stay safe and warm this weekend!

Happy Friday + Valentine's Day Weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day weekend everyone! I just love this holiday because it gives me more of an excuse to drink wine, eat chocolate covered anything, and spread tons of love. I'm flying solo this Valentine's Day so my present to myself was my precious little Gracie. You can follow along with us on Instagram #adventuresofgracieloo to see all of our fun adventures. This is also the anniversary of my "burnaversary". Two years ago I was cooking Valentine's Day dinner and a grease fire started. I had second and third degree burns on both arms and hands but am fully recovered. Just a reminder to be safe and if you do have a grease fire, DO NOT use water to put it out! Use a fire extinguisher or a towel to smother it. On a brighter note, my sister is coming in town this weekend so we can enjoy this holiday together. I can't wait to spend time with her cooking and exploring the city. Oh and this is her first time seeing Gracie! I hope you all have something fun planned with your Valentine(s)!

Here are some of my favorite recipes to make this Valentine's Day

For breakfast, try an egg in a hole or french toast.

I'm making this crab-stuffed flounder for dinner and I cannot wait.

These oreo pops and rice krispy pops are simple and festive.
