Crockpot Chili

{serves 8-10}

What You Need
Olive oil, for sautéing 
2 lbs ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken)
1 onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 bell peppers, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1 jalapeno, minced
1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes 
1 14. oz can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
3 TBS chili powder
1 TBSP dried oregano
1 TBSP dried basil
2 TSP cumin
1 TSP salt
1 TSP pepper
1 TSP onion powder
1/2 TSP cayenne pepper


1. Heat olive oil in large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and salute until translucent. 
2. Add ground meat and cook until brown. Drain grease and add to crock pot.
3. Add all remaining ingredients, other than toppings, to crockpot and stir.
4. Cover and set crockpot to low. Let cook for 6 hours and then serve with toppings and enjoy!
