Homemade M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

makes 25-30

In honor of National Homemade Cookie Day being this past Saturday, I thought I would share my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe! I have been making this recipe for as long as I can remember and it is always my go-to recipe. I love to add baking M&M's on top to make them even more delicious!

What You Need
2 1/4 cup flour
1 TSP baking soda
1/4 TSP salt
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 stick of butter, at room temperature
1 TSP vanilla
6 TBS egg whites
1 TBS milk
Chocolate chips

1. Preheat the oven to 350°
2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium sized bowl.
3. In a stand mixer (or hand mixer), beat the sugars and butter together.
4. Next add in the vanilla, milk, and egg whites and mix until combined.
5. Slowly, add in the flour mixture a little at a time until fully incorporated and then stir in the chocolate chips.
6. Place spoon full pieces of dough onto a non-greased baking sheet about an inch or two apart. Bake for 10-14 minutes or until cooked to your liking.
7. Let cool for 5 minutes and then enjoy!
