Valentine's Day Gift Guide For Him

Product Review: Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Powder

Over the last few years, my teeth have become more and more sensitive. It has been terrible! I've grown up using Crest Whitestripes, but I can't even use those anymore because it hurts my teeth so bad. With all the coffee and wine I drink, I need all the help I can get to keep my teeth white.

A few months ago, I found this amazing all-natural charcoal teeth whitener on Amazon. It had great reviews and it was only $20. I figured, what did I have to lose?! So I ordered it and have actually seen some improvements. I only use it once a day, but it does help! I wouldn't say it makes a dramatic change, but if you use it more frequently i'm sure it would.

I would definitely recommend this toothpaste as an alternative to anyone who can't use the traditional teeth whitening methods. All you do is brush your teeth like normal and voila, a brighter smile! I mean come on, who doesn't love that?

Hello Weekend!

Helllloooo Friday! Boy am I glad to see you! Luckily, this week went by pretty quickly. No major work fiascos, so it was a good week. However, my bathroom is currently under construction, so I have been working from my Mom's everyday this week. I can't wait to be able to work from home again! Fingers crossed it will be done soon (the joys of renting)!

This weekend, I plan on lounging and hanging out with friends. I'm going to check out Monday Night Garage for the first time and I am pretty excited! I absolutely love Monday Night and am shocked I haven't ventured over to their new space yet. What are y'all up to this weekend? Something fun I hope!

Chocolate Chip Blondie

What You Need
1 egg
1/4 cup coconut oil, softened
2/3 cup almond butter
2/3 cup coconut sugar
2 TSP vanilla
3/4 cup unblanched almond flour
1 TBS coconut flour
3/4 TSP baking soda
1/8 TSP salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips, this is my favorite paleo option
3 TBS chocolate chips + 1 TSP coconut oil, for topping

1. Preheat your oven to 350° and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and olive oil or PAM.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, coconut oil, almond butter, coconut sugar and vanilla. It will be thick.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda and salt.
4. Slowly, add the dry ingredients into the wet until fully combined. Once again, it will be very thick.
5. Stir in the chocolate chips and then spread into the pan. It will help if you use your hands.
6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until set and the edges are starting to brown. Then, let cool completely.
7. While the blondies are cooling, prepare the topping by melting the chocolate chips and coconut oil together. Drizzle on top and then enjoy!

The Weekend Is Here!

Happy Friday loves! What a crazy week it has been here in Atlanta. We got another heavy layer of snow on Wednesday and I couldn't leave my house all day, because there was a solid sheet of ice on my road and in my parking lot. BUT, I finally ventured out yesterday and had a mini heart attack driving on the ice. Luckily, I survived and didn't get into a wreck!

This weekend, my sister is coming into town and I can't wait to hangout with her. It's going to be nice out, so we plan on walking the Beltline and trying out a new brunch spot. Other than that, I plan on getting things done around the house and having some down time. What are y'all up to this weekend?
